Fees and policies.
Individual therapy.
Online or by phone, this is designated for individuals to process and explore their thoughts. Typically, appointments are weekly or bi-weekly.
Couples therapy.
Online or by phone, this is designated for couples to identify and work through the difficulties in their relationships. Typically, appointments are weekly.
Clinical supervision.
Online or by phone, this is for new and emerging therapists who need support to develop their clinical skills and achieve their professional goals.
I offer a FREE 15-min Consultation for new clients. This allows you to meet with me over the phone to decide if my services are a good fit for you and your needs. Although this is not a therapy session, it is an opportunity to clarify any questions and goals you may have. It is important to feel connected and comfortable in the therapeutic space for a positive outcome in your therapeutic journey.
Payment policy.
Payment for all services is rendered at the time of the visit. I accept payment in the form of credit card and e-Transfer. I will provide you with a receipt at the end of each session to use in order to file your claim with your insurance company.
I keep a limited number of sliding scale spots available. Please contact me if cost is a barrier for you as you may qualify to pay a lower rate based on a sliding scale and availability.
Cancellation policy.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. As such, you are required to give 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full rate for their session.
You will not be expected to pay for the session if you have substantial and unforeseeable problems with your connection, software or computer equipment, in which case the session will be cancelled and re-booked for another day and time when any problems have hopefully been rectified.
Insurance coverage.
Therapy and Counselling services provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW) are not covered by OHIP. They are frequently covered in full, or in part, by private health insurance or an employee benefits plan. Please check with your insurance provider in advance.
